Quick Note

Yeah...I've been a bad blogger. Sorry to my readers (which have dwindled to the random idle yahoo searcher who was looking for images of "Mr. Roto" for some reason). I was in 'Nam, Cambodia, and Thailand....having nothing to do with wars or coups. But I'm back now and I'll probably do a full DiNardo Analysis at some point in the future. In the meantime, I wanted to let you all (that guy searching for Mr. Roto) know that I've decided to start posting on the main Gnopple site. Check it out...there will be Sox related stuff there.

Responses

First, this is a blog about Lenny DiNardo, not about me. But I received a number of responses after the Herald article (mostly from friends who hadn't previously known that I had started up The Lenny DiNardo Blog) that I thought I'd share:

"i hate you with every fiber of my being." - J.G. (Yanks fan from Scarsdale, NY)

"Wow. No words." - B.R. (Chitown fan who dresses up like Jim McMahon every halloween)

"you are my hero. take it as a compliment when i start my luis alicea blog and it is covered in the 'shrewsbury plain dealer.'" - G.S.(Sox fan from Brookline)

"hey guy, you evah heard lauren & wally in the mahnin'?  those dudes are wicked funny" - Chris from Westboro, giving ideas for interview questions should we ever get Lenny on the phone.

""Hey guy...I heah the Dunkin Donuts in Florida sucks compared to the D & D in Reveah!!!  Is that true?"" - M.S. from Arlington, giving more ideas for interview questions should we ever get Lenny on the phone.

" Hilarious.  No way Lenny DiNardo's not sending some tickets your way." - P.H. (Tigers fan)

Here's hoping on that last one...

Day in the Sun

Redsox_adlogo_1 Well, we've made the big time! Many thanks to Jeff Horrigan from the Boston Herald who featured this blog in his Red Sox Notebook today.  We're proud to be fighting for Lenny...

DiNardo has support

Only with the Red Sox can a player fighting for the final spot on the pitching staff be the topic of an Internet blog. That’s the case with Lenny DiNardo (http://gnopple.typepad.com/lennydinardo/). The blog was started by Jim Paugh, a Worcester native who is among a group of local Sox fans attending law school in Washington.
“He’s the type of player you’d like to see succeed: no attitude, hard worker, just wants a shot,” Paugh explained in an e-mail. “We think he has a good shot at making a continuing contribution this year. We hope Tito (Francona) agrees.”

Welcome to the Lenny DiNardo Blog

This section of the Gnopple site is all about the future of the Red Sox: Lenny DiNardo. Send your links, news, and pics and we'll post them up. Long live Lenny!
